Though I do have some graduate-level courses in psychology, I am not a licensed therapist. The subject below is a very personal one. I can’t claim that I know anything or that utilizing anything I talk about will fix any problems you are facing. What I can do is share the knowledge and experiences that I have encountered along my path in hopes that others will do the same.
At the northwestern base of Mount Fuji in Japan, there is a 12 square mile forest that has flourished upon the hardened lava left from Fujiyama’s last major eruption in 864 A.D. known as Aokigahara (pronounced ah kee go hara’) It is also called Jukai which translates into English as the poetic sounding “Sea of Trees”. But to many this idyllic nature preserve has a much more sinister name.
