By Kortni Hawkins:

Scientists and doctors have spent years researching psilocybin. They have done extensive research into the health benefits as well as the potential side effects of using psilocybin.

As stated on the Initiative’s website, decriminalizedenver.org, psilocybin can reduce psychological stress and suicidality, reduce opioid use and dependence, and according to them is physiologically safe and non-addictive. We all know that just because a drug works well for one person, it does not mean that it will work the same way for the next person.

There is a lot of research and testing still to do on this naturally occurring plant, but seeing as how Oregon is not far behind Colorado in its quest to decriminalize psilocybin, we can expect to read more about this drug in the near future.
